UDHAMPUR, Apr 17: A group of burglars struck in three houses and a shop at village Pundal in Latti area and decamped with cash, gold ornaments and other house hold articles, here last night.
Owners of the shops, namely Bansi Lal and Charn Dass, both sons of Suram Chand, and Rattan Lal son of Bhagat Ram, had gone to attend a function along with their families to another village when the theft took place in their houses.
On their return, the family members found their houses burgled. Locks of the doors and almirahs were broken while cash besides other items were found stolen.
On the same night, provisional store of Gorkhiya, son of Badri, was also burgled. He found lock of the shop broken and cash as well as other items stolen, this morning.
The Police has registered the case and started investigation.
