JAMMU, Nov 21: Three alleged drug peddlers have been arrested with 192 grams of heroin-like-substance from Domana area here.
A police official said that on November 20, 2024, a team of Police Station Domana, led by SHO concerned, under the supervision of SDPO Domana, and SP Rural Jammu, Brijesh Kumar Sharma, while performing naka checking at Domana naka, stopped a Scorpio N vehicle (JK11H-1122) for checking.
On search of the occupants of the vehicle, he said, around 192 grams of heroin-like-substance was recovered from their possession, he said.
The accused, according to the police official, have been identified as Sahil Sharma of Talla Tanda, Sunderbani, Sumit Raina of Channi Prat, Sunderbani and Mohammad Rozwan of Dodasan Balla, Rajouri.
All of them have been arrested and booked in case FIR number 269/2024 under sections 8/21/22/25/29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Domana and further investigation started, the police official said.
