DODA, Dec 18: Police here today arrested three persons for their involvement in sacrilegious act.
Sources informed that during the intervening night of 17/18 December, 2025, information was received at Police Station Doda regarding the sacrilegious act and three persons including Farooq Ahmed, son of Nazir Ahmed, resident of Sersi Dhalwa; Mohammad Shafi, son of Abdul Salam, resident of Verinag Kapran, District Anantnag and Mohammad Yaseen, son of Abdul Qayoom, resident of Top Sersi, Doda along with some unidentified individuals were identified responsible for the allegedly act which had the potential to hurt the religious sentiments of a particular community and disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the area.
Acting promptly, cops raided the spot and arrested all the three accused persons.
An FIR was registered in this regard.
