RAJOURI, Sept 7: The police arrested three drug peddlers and recovered charas from them during early hours here today.
A police spokesman that police party led by SHO Rajouri, Chaman Gorkha, under the supervision of SSP Rajouri, Rajeshwar Singh conducted a raid on a specific information and nabbed three persons including two drivers at around 4 am from Kheora area of Rajouri town. Nine wrappers of charas were recovered from their possession. They were nabbed and a case under FIR No. 582/ 2016 was registered against them.
They have been identified as Sabar Hussain, son of Mohd Hussain, resident of Dodaj in Darhal; Parvez Hussain, son of Wazir Hussain, resident of Doongi- both drivers, and Tarsem Lal, son of Puran Chand resident of Brahampur in Gurdaspur district of Punjab. Tarsem is said to be working in a local furniture shop at Rajouri. Police was investigating.
