JAMMU, June 17: Three drug peddlers have been arrested with heroin.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Nehru Market Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a Swift car bearing registration number JK02BW-8384.
During checking, police team recovered 5 grams heroin from the possession of the driver and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Davinder Pal Singh, son of Tirth Singh of Digiana Pulli, Jammu.
Meanwhile, a team from Digiana Police Post apprehended two drug peddlers along with 4 grams of heroin.
The accused have been identified as Sunil Kumar alias Sunny, son of Baldev Singh and Ashwani Kumar alias Patti, son of Kamal Kumar, both residents of Nanak Nagar Jammu.
Cases under relevant sections have been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
