REASI, Mar 21: In two separate cases, Police arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 5.65 grams heroin like substance from their possession.
Police team of Police Station Reasi laid a surprise naka at IRP Chowk area and apprehended one accused namely Parkash Singh, age 28 years, son of Mohan Singh of Thiloo Reasi, A/P Gran Morh Reasi and seized 1.5 gram heroin like substance from his possession.
In another success, Police Party of PP Talwara intercepted an Alto car bearing Registration Number JK02Q- 8566 and during frisking, 2.5 grams of heroin was recovered from its driver and 2.1 gram heroin from his associate travelling in the car. The accused were identified as Abhijeet Singh son of Jalam Singh of Nai Basti, Reasi and Sanjay Kumar, son of Chet Singh of Seela, Reasi.
The whole operation was conducted by team of Police Station Reasi and PP Talwara, led by SHO Reasi, Inspr Chaman Gorka.
