Srinagar, Jan 2: Fire broke out in Annatnag district of South Kashmir in which three cowsheds were gutted.
A police spokesman said the gutted structures belonged to Abdul Rehman Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi, Mohammad Shafi Bhat son of Gull Bhat and Ali Mohammad Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi residents of Shekari, Mohalla, Anantnag.
Another cowshed of Abdul Gani Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmed resident of Watnard collapsed due to heavy snowfall cowshed. The cow shed was damaged, the spokesman said.
Police said fire broke out in the joint two-storey house of Zulfikar Ahmad and Altaf Hussain sons of late Ghulam Rasool Bhat residents of Hassan Abad Rainawari on Tuesday.
A police spokesman said the first floor of the was damaged in the incident. The cause of fire is believed to be due to electric short circuit.
