UDHAMPUR, Mar 26: Three traffic policemen were taken into custody after some suspicious meat was recovered from their post near the Chenani-Nashri tunnel, here last evening.
The action was taken after some locals protested outside the traffic post claiming that these policemen were cooking some suspicious meat.
On getting information in this regard, Police swung into action and seized the suspicious substances in the presence of a magistrate, a veterinary doctor and witnesses from the public.
The accused traffic cops were also taken into custody while samples of the meat have been sent to FSL for testing.
According to police, action will be taken on the basis of FSL report.
