JAMMU, Mar 7: Three civilians went missing last night in village Lohai Malhar in Billawar tehsil of Kathua district prompting security forces to launch search operations.
Reports said three civilians went missing when they were on way to a marriage function at Lohai Malhar in hilly area of Billawar in Kathua district last night.

They have been identified as Varun Singh, 15, son of Chamel Singh, a resident of village Dehota, Yogesh Singh, 32, son of Shori Lal and Darshan Singh, 40, both residents of Marhoon.
There was no police statement on the missing of civilians.
However, Army, police and SOG have launched search operations in the area.
Local people have called upon police to intensify searches to trace the missing civilians.
On February 16, two civilians Shamsher, 37 and Roshan 45, were found dead at village Kohag in Billawar where they had gone to collect woods.
Their deaths also remained a mystery so far.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA from Billawar Satish Sharma raised the issue in the Assembly and sought a response from the Government.
As the Assembly session began for the day, Sharma raised a point of order to inform the House about the missing civilians in Lohai Malhar area of Billawar constituency.
“I want to inform you about the missing three civilians. We want to seek answers from the Government,” Sharma said.
In response, Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather said the Question Hour had begun and suggested the question be taken up afterwards.
