JAMMU, Mar 29: Three boys are feared to have drowned in the Tawi River near Sainik School at Nagrota area here today, prompting police and rescue teams to launch a massive search operation.

Those missing have been identified as Sonam Dutt, son of Sunny Dutt; Bavish Koul, son of Manohar Nath Koul; and Aditya Pandit, son of Shahji Pandit-all residents of Jagti Migrant Colony.
Officials said the boys were playing in a park near the colony around 4:30 PM when they went missing.
According to them, the family members raised an alarm after they could not be traced.
Acting on the information, a police team launched a search operation and got to know that the boys had entered the Tawi River near Sainik School, Nagrota.
Accordingly, rescue teams, including the NDRF, were pressed into service, and search operations were ongoing till the filing of this report.
