JAMMU, June 19: Chenani police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 3 cattle and arresting one smuggler.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Chenani Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK14E-4286.
During checking, police team rescued 3 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Mohammad Younis, son of Fazi of District Udhampur.
A case under FIR Number 69/19 under section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Chenani Police Station and investigation started.
