RAJOURI, Jan 27: The Police has arrested three persons in connection with the brutal murder of Nisar Hussain, son of Mohammad Iqbal, a resident of Panchayat Charan on Sunday. .
Reports said Nisar had recently returned home from Saudi Arabia after living there for nearly six years. On the day of incident, he was traveling in his uncle’s car through the Palmam, Nagrota area when he was stopped by a group of men. They stabbed him in the chest and fled, leaving him severely injured.
Local residents rushed him to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri for treatment, but he was declared dead upon arrival.
The police promptly registered a case under FIR No. 10/2025 and began an investigation under the supervision of SSP Rajouri, Gaurav Sikarwar. A special team was formed to investigate the case.
During the inquiry, the police arrested three accused: Rahil Rouf (26), son of Mohd Rouf, a resident of Nagrota; Amjad Hussain (23), son of Maqbool Hussain, a resident of Nagrota and Sultan Khan, son of Altaf Hussain (24), a resident of Saaltar, Palma. SSP stated that the investigation was progress to determine the motive behind the crime.
