Katra, Dec 16: The second meeting of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University was held here today under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Prof Sudhir K. Jain, Prof. V. K. Bhat, Director, IQAC gave the details of activities of IQAC that include conduct of feedback and other activities related to quality improvement in academics, administration and outreach. In the meeting, quality policy and parameters related to quality assurance of the University were discussed. Some useful suggestions were given by members. Based on the discussion, some decisions towards improvement in quality were taken that includes external evaluation, introduction of flowchart system in file processing, assessment of quality of research, online mechanism in library and time frame for implementation of the decisions.
The meeting was attended by Ajeet Kumar Sahu, CEO SMVDSB, Rajiv Chawla, Chairman, IAMSME Faridabad, Rohit Gupta, MD Sarveshwar Overseas, Ajay Khajuria, Registrar, SMVDU, S. L. Pandita, Finance Officer, SMVDU, Dr. Jyoti Sharma, Member Secretary, IQAC, coordinators of various activities Dr. Amit Kant Pandit, Subrata Deb, Er. Ashish Suri, other members and student representatives.
