JAMMU, Apr 17: State Committee of J&K Homoeopathic Doctors in association with HMAI, J&K Branch today celebrated the 261st birthday of Founder of homoeopathy, Dr Samuel Hahnemann in a function held at Ved Mandir Complex, Ambphalla.
Convener of the seminar Dr SD Sharma welcomed Dr BR Dubb, Registrar J&K Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine who was the chief guest on the occasion.
Chairman of the Committee Dr Raj Kumar Arora,Vice President Dr Ranjan Tuli, Organising Secretary Vijay Bhagat, Dr Lalit after paying rich tribute to Dr Hahnemann, honoured Dr BR Dubb for his untiring efforts to promote homoeopathy in J&K.
Unemployed Homoeopathic doctors requested Dr Dubb to put forward their demands to Minister for Health & Medical Education Bali Bhagat to establish a Government homoeopathic hospital in J&K vis-à-vis appoint more homoeopathic doctors in Government hospitals to popularize homoeopathy in J&K.
Doctors present on the occasion were Dr Satish Attri, Dr Ajay, Dr Meenakshi, Dr Nitika, Dr Neena, Dr Rakesh, Dr Zakir, Dr Irum, Dr Aslam, Dr Rubina, Dr Bhaskar, Dr Satish Sharma, Dr Sanila Raina and Dr Vijaynder.
On the occasion, Dr SD Sharma conducted a free medical camp and distributed free homoeopathic medicines to patients. Bakson Homoeopathy, Noida sponsored the whole event and medicines.
