JAMMU, Mar 12: The Government has promoted 26 officers to the Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS).
As per separate orders issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), among those promoted are 24 Junior Scale officers and two officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Development (Gazetted) Service.

While the former have been given the promotional benefits with effect from January 1, 2026 on notional basis and on regular basis prospectively, the latter have been promoted notionally from January 1, 2025 and on regular basis, prospectively.
Those Junior Scale officers who have been promoted to the Time Scale are Mohammad Zubair Lattoo, Narinder Kumar, Muazzam Ali, Priya Lakshmi, Mohammad Azhar Lone, Indu Jamwal, Wakeel Ahmed Batt, Asiya Nazir, Rashi Dutta, Akaknsha Kalsotra, Preeti Sharma, Dr Farukh Nasir Paul, Muneeb Umar, Bhumika Sharma, Parveez Ahmad Bhat, Saniya Malik, Aamir Ayaiz Rather, Mamta Rajput, Kewal Krishan Sharma, Shafqet Ali, Kanchan Bala, Abdul Rashid Raina, Mohammad Raiyaz, and Mohammad Yousf Ganaie while the two J&K Rural Development (Gazetted) Service officers promoted to the Time Scale of the JKAS are Majid Manzoor Bhat and Ramesh Chander.
