25 stolen mobile phones recovered

JAMMU, Mar 1: Police in Jammu’s Narwal area here claimed they have recovered 25 stolen mobile phones from three persons arrested today.
A police spokesperson said that several complaints were lodged at Police Post Narwal regarding missing mobile phones in different areas under their jurisdiction.
On this, he said, case FIR number 50/2024 under section 379/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation set into motion.
During investigation, the police spokesperson said that special teams of Police Post Narwal led by incharge Police Post rounded up three suspects later identified as Raj Kishore, Binju, and Laddan, all residents of UP at present Narwal Mandi, Jammu.
During questioning, he said, the suspects confessed to their involvement in the crime and on their disclosure, the stolen mobile phones were recovered from their possession.
Further investigation into the case is underway, added the police spokesperson.
