Reasi, Nov 11: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh took an initative to provide free travel Passes to 25 female students of Higher Secondary School Mahore, who were pursuing their studies from far-off areas of Mahore Sub-Division.
On this ocassion, Singh said that this initative is to fecilitate the students as concession in fare for those who were facing hardship while going for studies in different institutions.
The programme was organised by T.S. Billawaria, Principal HSS Mahore in collaboration with Rajesh Gupta, ARTO Reasi.
Beside this, a road safety awarness programme was also conducted in the School for the students to follow traffic rules to minimise road accidents specifically two wheeler.
The ARTO also distributed masks and sanitizers among the students and spoke on ongoing pandemic & safeguard to protect themselves from the COVID pandemic by wearing mask and sanitize their hands.
Moreover, an awareness programme was also conducted for drivers and conductors at Dak Bungalow Mahore.
During this awareness programme, Rajesh Gupta advised the drivers for concession in the fare for students and also directed them not to overcharge from general public and refrain from overloading in their Vehicles.
All these activities were conducted under the supervision of Rajesh Gupta, ARTO Reasi along with the Motor Vehicle Inspector C.S.Balloria and his team.
