22 students from Allen Jammu selected for RMO

JAMMU, Nov 10: Twenty Two students of Allen Career Institute, Jammu today brought glory to Jammu and Kashmir, in the results of the first stage of the International Mathematical Olympiad, the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM), which was declared here today.
This was informed by Kuldeep Sharma, Head of Allen Jammu Center.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that 22 students from Allen Jammu Center performed excellently and qualified for the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) Stage-2. This achievement is not only a matter of pride for Allen Jammu but also a source of inspiration for the entire J&K region.”
“The students achieved this milestone through their hard work, dedication, perseverance and the guidance of their faculty. Allen will continue its mission of guiding young talent in the right direction. The top scorer from Allen Jammu secured 52.5 marks,” he said.
Sharma further mentioned that, at the national level, a total of 6,831 students across India have qualified for RMO, among whom, as per the current count, 1,198 students are from Allen.
The IOQM examination was conducted across various centers in India on September 7 and 28, and the Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) will be held on November 16.
