SRINAGAR, July 13: Twenty one persons were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesperson said that 11 persons were injured in an accident that occurred in Kralpora area of Kupwara district this afternoon.
A police spokesperson said that 11 persons were injured when a Tata 407 JK09 1617 they were travelling in, met with an accident at Chookibalan, Kralpora. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Kupwara Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident a Tata 407 JK03 8817 hit and injured a child, Munsif, son of Parshu, of Uranhal Bijbehara. A case FIR number 144/13 has been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Santro car JK03A 6931 collided with a motorcycle DL95AE 3507 on KP Road at Seer Hamdan, Mattan in Anantnag district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Zakir Hussain Malik of Khayar and Pillion Nisar Ahmad Wagay of Nambal. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Mattan Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Tata Sumo JK03A 7943 met with an accident at Poshinari, Anantnag, resulting in injuries to three persons who were travelling in it. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Uttrasoo police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Scorpio JK05D 1532 hit a Scooty JK05C 8239 at Kralhar, Baramulla, near FCI, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to Scooty rider Abdul Rashid Lone son of Mohammad Sultan of Uskhkara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Baramulla Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Maruti car JK05C 7550 hit a motorcycle JK04A 6093 at Chanapora NHW, Tangmarg, resulting in injuries three persons who were riding the motorcycle. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Tangmarg Police has registered a case in this regard.
