JAMMU, Nov 18: Twenty-one delegates from Jammu and five other cities of the nation today reached Kathmandu (Nepal) for the Global Youth Leadership Summit-2021 which is being conducted at National Assembly Hall, Kathmandu, Nepal.
The three-day summit will commence tomorrow (November 19) will last November 21. The event will be inaugurated by Vice-President of Nepal Nanda Bahadur Pun. The Summit is meant to gather young leaders, innovators, peacemakers, youth activists and civil pioneers around the globe in a single forum to share their experiences and knowledge on pertinent global issues.
The 21 delegates participating in the Summit are from 6 different cities wherein 8 delegates are from Jammu, 8 from Mumbai, one each from Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Chandigarh and 2 from New Delhi. The delegates from J&K are Ritesh Kapoor (Chief Editor, Daily The Excel Express), Naresh Kumar (Chairman, Learning Temple High School), Dr Atul Hans (Director Principal IDRS), Sumit Kumar Verma (Director, Sacred Heart Public School), Sandeepan Gupta (Senior Lecturer, Government SRML Model School, Jammu), Dheeraj Bharti (MD, The Pillars Institute), Dr Rachna Sharma (Teacher, APS Jammu) and Amit Choudhary (Manager, Sacred Heart Public School).
The delegates from Mumbai are Dr Seema Mranal Negi (Global Goodwill Ambassador), Kavita Agrawal (M D Sanjeevani World School), Dr Rashmirekha Saha (Principal Jaipuriar Senior Secondary School), Rajeev Kumar (Principal, Datta Meghe World Academy), Lakshmi Arun Panikeveetil (Principal, Yashwantrao Chavan English Medium School), Tasneem Dohadwala (MYP Coordinator Fazlani L’Academie Globalie) and Ashna Shah (Counsellor, Fazlani L’Academie Globale).
Besides, the delegates included Prachi Vyas (Director Niravadya Foundation) from Gujarat, Anuradsri Anand and Pawan Gupta from New Delhi, Shalini Gupta (Principal Global Public School) from Uttar Pradesh and Dr Sagareeka Roy Bhatia (Author) from Chandigarh.
The Indian Delegates are headed by Dr Seema Mranal Negi along with Ritesh Kapoor as media partner to conduct the same.
