JAMMU, Mar 9: As per the directions of Executive Chairman J&K Legal Services Authority, 1st National Lok Adalat for the year 2025 was organised at District Court Complex, Samba.
The National Lok Adalat was inaugurated by R N Wattal, Principal District & Sessions Judge (also Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Samba). Three benches were constituted for expeditious disposal of cases (Pre and Post Litigation).
A total number of 247 cases were taken up for their amicable settlement out of which 209 cases were settled and an amount of Rs 2,12,62,123 was realized as settlement amount.
