POONCH, May 31: Two youth travelling on a Scooty were killed when their two-wheeler Scooty collided with a mini-bus in Chandak area of Poonch district today.

Official sources said that a Canter/Mini-bus bearing registration number JK12C-7207 was on its way from Poonch to Mandi while a scooty bearing number JK12-A 2495 was coming from the opposite side. When both reached in Chandak area near J&K Bank, they collided badly in which both the youth travelling on Scooty died. One of them was crushed to death on the spot, the other was shifted to DH Poonch but he died on the way.
Officials identified the deceased as Bilal Ahmed, son of Jamal Din, resident of Chamber Kanari and Zahir Ahmed, son of Javid Ahmed, resident of Bandi Chechian, Poonch. The bodies were handed over to the family members after performing legal formalities in DH Poonch.
Meanwhile, the police has taken cognizance of the matter.
