Katra, June 2: In separate incidents, two youth allegedly committed suicide and their bodies were found hanging.
Reports said that 22-year-old Sourab Dogra, son of Kewal Kumar and resident of Kadmal, Katra, was found hanging from ceiling fan at his house in the intervening night of 1st and 2nd June. The incident came to light when family members found the body and immediately informed the local police.
In another incident reported this morning, 26-year-old Joginder Kumar, son of Shibu and a resident of Kun Drorian in Tehsil Katra, was found hanging from a tree near his residence.
Both the bodies were shifted to Community Health Centre (CHC) Katra for post-mortem. After completion of legal formalities, the dead bodies were handed over to their respective families.
Katra Police have initiated investigations into both the cases.
