2 vehicles with 14 bovines seized

RAJOURI, July 21: The police foiled bovines smuggling attempts at three different places, seized two vehicles and 14 bovine animals in Rajouri district since last night.
Official soures said that during naka in Keri area by Chingus police intercepted vehicles No. JK11E-0598 (Tata Mobile), transporting 7 bovine animals via Keri Link Road without valid permission. The driver managed to flee the spot. The Vehicle No. JK11D-3782 (Tata Mobile) was intercepted on Sasalkote Road and was found carrying 5 bovine animals also without valid permission.
In both cases the animals were rescued and the both vehicles have been seized. Separate cases have been registered in this connection.
In a separate incident at Potha the police party from Kalakote during checking intercepted one person identified as Mohd Mushtaq son of Mohd Misri from Barsala Koteranka carrying two bovine animals without valid permission. The villager was booked and the animals were recued.
