RAJOURI, June 3: In two separate incidents the police seized two vehicles loaded with 14 bovine animals in district Rajouri during last night.
In the first incident, the police team led by SHO Rajouri Abid Hussain Shah during naka at Kallar-intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle (Registration No JK20B-3379) coming from Nowshera side towards Poonch. The vehicle was being driven by unknown driver.
During checking the vehicle was found loaded with seven (7)bovine animals tied cruelly with ropes and being transported without any valid permission. A case FIR No. 286/2025 U/S 223BNS,11PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Rajouri.
In the second incident another police party during patrolling rounded up a Tata Mobile vehicle (Registration No JK11C- 0760). It was found illegally transporting seven (07) bovine animals towards Poonch. The driver managed to escape, police claimed. The bovine animals were taken into custody by the police and a case was registered in this connection.
