RAJOURI, July 29: Thannamandi police seized two vehicles loaded with 11 bovine animals and arrested two persons in this connection last night.
A police spokesman said that during naka on the outskirts of Thannamandi, a police party from Thannamandi led by SHO Karan Chalotra under the supervision of SSP Rajouri, Yougal Manhas, intercepted two Tata Mobile vehicles No. JK-18/7874 and JK-22/4385 and found 11 bovine animals loaded in them. They were on way to Kashmir via Mughal Road.
The Police seized vehicles along with cattle and arrested all there persons carrying them to Valley. They were identified as, Mazhar Iqbal, son of Abdul Ghani, resident of Khannabal; Shabir Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin, resident of Thannamandi and Manzoor Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin, resident of Thannamandi. The police has registered a case in this connection.
