2 stolen vehicles recovered, 3 accused arrested

UDHAMPUR, Feb 11: Udhampur Police recovered two stolen vehicles from Krimachi and also arrested three accused in this connection.
Giving details, SSP Rajiv Pandey said that the recovered vehicles include a load carrier (auto) bearing registration number JK14C- 1914 and a Tata Mobile, bearing number JK02AK 8369, which were stolen by the accused from different areas, last month. The load carrier, owned by Mashoor Chand son of Mulkh Raj of Panchari A/P Rakh Badali at PS Udhampur, was stolen outside his house while the Tata Mobile was stolen from Sabzi Mandi area.
During the course of investigation, police team of PS Udhampur, led by SHO Inspr Vijay Singh Choudhary, under the supervision of Rajinder Singh Katoch, Addl SP Udhampur and Dr Rohit Chadgal, DySP Hqrs Udhampur, zeroed in some suspects and on their disclosure, stolen load was intercepted on Krimachi road near Pandav Temple along with Tata Mobile.
Police did not disclose identity of the accused as their further interrogation may lead to recovery of more stolen items and arrest of other members of the gang.
