2 Pakistani boys arrested on LoC in Rajouri

JAMMU : Army today arrested two Pakistani boys when they crossed over to this side of the border from the Line of Control in Rajouri district.
“Two Pakistani boys were arrested by the Army troops this morning from Jhangar area close to the LoC in Nowshera Sector when they ‘inadvertently’ crossed the fence and entered the Indian Territory via Ashoka Post,” official sources here told reporters.
They said the identity of the arrested boys has been ascertained as Rehmat Ullah, 15 and his brother Inayat Ullah, sons of Mungeya Ullah, residents of village Churu, tehsil Khoita, district Kotli, Pakistan.
“The matter is being investigated as it seems that the boys have ‘inadvertently’ entered the Indian Territory,” an official said.
He further said the Army is in touch with the Pakistan side for flag meeting to repatriate them.
