SAMBA, Apr 17: Samba Police booked two more persons under relevant sections in the jurisdiction of Police Station, Purmandal making a total of four persons in last two days for violation of lockdown orders while travelling from outside J&K to their native villages.
Police team of Police Station, Purmandal registered a case FIR No. 13/2020 US 269/270/188 IPC against Manjoor Hussain, S/o Balooch Ahmed of Utterbehni, Purmandal for travelling from Jaipur to his native village Utterbehni.
Another case FIR No. 14/2020 US 269/270/188 IPC was registered against Sunny Sharma, S/o Govind Ram of Moutlian Kalan, Utterbehni for travelling from Pune to his native village Utterbehni.
Both the persons have been put to Quarantine Center at Ghagwal immediately with the help of Health Department. They reached their home by taking lift in trucks carrying essential commodities.
The two persons who violated the Government advisories and travelled a long distance neither thought of their own safety nor of the people living in society in view of the spread of contagious disease COVID-19. They while hiding their travel history, crossed through various prohibited hot spots and put lives of others at risk.
