SAMBA, Mar 19:Two persons died in two separate accidents in Samba district today.
As per reports one person received serious injuries after falling from Bandra Express Train near Railway Station, Bari Brahmana. He was shifted to GMC Jammu by GRP Bari Brahmana where doctors declared him as brought dead. The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained so far. The body has been kept in mortuary GMC for legal formalities and identification. Meanwhile, inquest proceedings under Section 194 BNS vide DD No 19 have been initiated at GRP Bari Brahmana in this regard.
In another incident one pedestrian was hit by an unknown vehicle near Sarore Adda falling under the jurisdiction of Bari Brahmana Police Station and he died on the spot. The PS, Bari Brahmana has taken cognisance of the matter and shifted the body of deceased to GMC Jammu where it is lying in the mortuary as the identity of the deceased has not also been ascertained as yet.
