KATHUA, Nov 9: Two killed in separate road accidents in Samba and Kathua districts today.
As per reports, a youth identified as Jeewan Sharma, 38, son of Ganesh Dutt of Durang Billawar in Kathua district was serious injured after his bike collided with another bike at Mandli Billawar today. He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu where doctors declared him as brought dead. The dead body has been shifted to mortuary room of GMC for postmortem and it will be handed over the family tomorrow after legal formalities tomorrow.
Billawar police has taken cognizance of the matter.
In another case a motorcyclist died after he fell down when his bike skidded of the road at Shah Balore in Samba today. He has been identified as Gopal Dass, 50, son of Karnail Chand of Shah Balore. He received grievous injuries and was immediately shifted to GMCH, Jammu for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries later.
His dead body has also been shifted to mortuary room of GMC for postmortem. It will be handed over to the family members after the legal formalities.
The Samba police has taken cognizance of the matter.
