SRINAGAR: Two people were killed and another one was seriously injured when a newly constructed wall of an irrigational canal collapsed in the border town of Kargil in Ladakh region.
Official sources said that newly constructed wall of an irrigational canal suddenly collapsed at Baroo Stochk in Kargil, resulting in serious injuries to three persons.
The injured were immediately taken to a local hospital where two of them, identified as Mohammad Hussain, Mohammad Ali, were declared brought dead.
However, the third injured, Ahmad Ali, was shifted to SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar in a critical condition. (AGENCIES)
