NOWSHERA, Mar 27: Two persons were injured in a road accident in Dandesar area of district Rajouri on Friday.
Reports said a Brezza vehicle bearing registration No. JK11J-6294, driven by Ramesh Chander, resident of Nariyan, was on its way from Siot towards Nowshera. The driver allegedly lost control over the vehicle and it collided with a motorcycle bearing registration No. JK11A-0270.
Following the collision, both the rider and the pillion sustained injuries and were immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Nowshera for treatment.
Block Medical Officer Nowshera, Dr Chander Parkash, informed that Basant Lal Choudhary (40), son of Manju Lal Choudhary, resident of Lamberi, suffered a head injury and is currently under treatment at SDH Nowshera.
Another injured, Mast Ram (36), son of Bhupat Choudhary, also a resident of Lamberi, was later referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for advanced medical care.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter and further investigation is underway.
