SUNDERBANI, Oct 3: Two persons were injured in a group clash over some land dispute in Sunderbani town today.
Official sources said that the clash took place between two parties namely, Tilak Raj, son of Labu Ram of Ward No. 13, Sunderbani and Mansa Ram, son of Badrinath of the same locality, over land/ passage dispute passing just closer to BSF camp. Tilak Raj and party tried to cut the road to create a way to the nearby cremation ground. Over this, Mansa Ram objected claiming that land belonged to him. After heated exchanges, a bloody scuffle took place between members of both the parties.
Police party from Sunderbani Police Station came to know about it and rushed to the spot. Tilak Raj sustained deep wounds of some sharp edge weapon on his hand and was referred to GMC Jammu after treatment in Sunderbani hospital. One Suresh Kumar, son of Mansa Ram sustained head injury and was undergoing treatment at SDH Sunderbani. The Police has registered a case in this connection.
