KATRA, Dec 9: In a continuing crackdown against illegal mining and transportation of mineral material, Police today seized two dumpers loaded with mining material at Katra.
A police team of Police Station Katra, while carrying out routine checking, intercepted two Dumpers, bearing Registration number JK02BD-1447 and JK02AP-0265.
Both the vehicles were found transporting mining material without valid permission. The dumpers were seized on the spot and the concerned Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal action as per rules.
The operation was carried out by SHO Katra, Inspector Ranjeet Singh Rao, under the supervision of SDPO Katra, Dr Bhishm Dubey.
