RAJOURI, Jan 12: The police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered some quantity of heroin from their possession in Dharamsal area today.
Official sources said that a police party from Dharamsal led by SHO Parveen Kumar under the supervision SDPO Surinder Mohan during Naka at Solki apprehended two persons and recovered 9 gms of heroin from their possession.
They were identified as Iftikhar Ahmed, son of Qamar-ul-Zaman from Ghambir Brahmna in Manjakote and Mohd Maroof, son of Bagh Hussain from Darhal Topa.
In this regard a Case FIR No. 04/2026 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Dharamsal against them.
