SRINAGAR, July 13: A five year old boy died in a road mishap in Kargil while one person died and six others were injured in different road accident across the Kashmir valley.
A Mini bus JK07/1667 hit a 5 years old boy Mohammad Hanif resident of Namsuru Panikhar at Panikhar, Kargil, resulting in on spot death of the boy. Kargil Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tata Sumo hit a motorcycle JK01P/4181 at Sonwar Srinagar, in the jurisdiction of police station Ram Munshi Bagh Srinagar, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist Adil Ahamd Shakhsaz son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Habba Kadal. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries. Srinagar Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Compactor vehicle HR74-13160, a Maruti Zen JK01F/1018 and a Tractor JK18/3822 collided at Vessu in the jurisdiction of police station Qazigund, Kulgam, resulting in injuries to three passengers, who were traveling in Maruti Zen. All the injured have been shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment. Qazigund police has registered a case in this regard
In another accident, a Santro car JK01M/1460 hit a motorcycle JK05C/6020 at Chogal Handwara resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Mohammad Ahsan Lone resident of Bomai, Sopore. The injured has been shifted to Chogal Hospital for treatment. Handwara police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Wagon-R JK05A/8171 and Motorcycle collided at Sangrama, Sopore, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Arif Ahmad Dantoo resident of Badambagh, Sopore and Faisal Fayaz Shalla resident of Badam bagh Sopore, who was travelling in Wagon-R. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Sopore police has registered a case in this regard.
