JAMMU, Mar 22: A two day Hawan concluded at famous Sidhlakshmi Peeth temple promises at Durganagr Sector 2 with Poorn Aahuti offered on the auspicious Zang-tray festival followed by Parasaad Vitran devotees in large numbers thronged the temple to seek blessings of Mata Sidhlakshmi.
Samoohik Aarti was also held and Bhajan Keertan continued throughout the night. Community members used to pay obeisance at Mahakaal Bharav Asthapan head of Bhairvas atop hillock near Sidhlakshmi shrine Lokbhawan. Yellow cooked rice (Tehr) used to be offered by community and distributed amongst devotees. Hawan was performed with Vedic Mantras by Shastri Shri Makhan Lal assisted by Sanjay Kumar.
The Management Committee of the Shrine headed by S L Koul as Pradhan Sevak thanked the all Biradari members / devotees for their work and dedication.
