2 burglaries within 2 days in same house

KATHUA, Mar 5: A family in Ward Number 9 of Kathua was left distressed after their house was burgled twice during last two days. As per family the burglars after breaking the locks of the house decamped with household goods including costly utensils of Brass, AC, other electric gadgets, Almirahs , cooking gas etc.
The owner of the House Kuldeep Raj Kohli said that during last two days the burglars struck twice and decamped with house hold goods and costly items. He said the family is totally scared and are leaving the premises to take refuge at a safe place somewhere else.
He said loss is approximately from Rs 1.50 lakh to Rs two lakh. The house is within one hundred metres from SSP Office Kathua and the CCTV cameras are installed in the area and despite that the burglars have not been traced. He said the matter was reported to Police and a police team visited the house led by one Sub Inspector but they failed to trace the burglars. He said the residential house falls in the heart of Kathua town and two theft incidents taking place within two days in the same house is cause of concern.
Kohli said police should act in tracing out the burglars and arrest them to restore the confidence of the people.
