MENDHAR, Sept 7: Two important telephone exchanges of Harni and Bhata Durian in Mendhar Sub Division of district Poonch are lying order of order.
Some youth also held protest at Harni against BSNL authorities as the Telephone exchange of the area is lying defunct for the last several months. The authorities failed to take cognizance of the matter despite several representations to the local authorities.
The second Telephone Exchange located at Bhata Durian on Mendhar-BG Road is also out of order. With this, the people from about two dozen villages and hamlets have been suffering. They sought the intervention of DC Poonch in this connection.
