JAMMU, Mar 21: Eighteen officials of the Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment have received UT Level Forestry awards.
The awards include- a medal, citation and Rs 25,000 cash. Out of the 18, 12 awards have been secured by the officials from Jammu Forest Division.
These 12 Forest officials are– Surinder Singh Chib, Vikas Gupta, Surjeet Singh, Mall Jyoti, Vipin Jamwal, Riaz Ahmed, Sansar Chand, Sham Singh, Romit Kumar, Deepak Sharma, Ajay Kumar and Ajay Sharma; Mudasir Ahmed and Aijaz Ahmed Bhat from Pir Panjal Forest Division, Aijaz Ahmed Khan from Kamraj Forest Division, Mohd Aslam Lone and Javed Ahmed Ahengar from Langate Forest Division while Nasir-ul-Islam from Spl Forest Division Kulgam.
These awards were presented to them today during a function held at Jammu by the Forest Minister Javed Rana, in presence of Com/Secy Forest, Sheetal Nanda and PCCF, J&K, Suresh Kumar Gupta.
