JAMMU/SRINAGAR/LEH, Nov 12: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 158 new COVID positive cases while Ladakh recorded 11 fresh positives.
In Kashmir division, 132 new cases were registered while Jammu region reported 26.
Among 26 cases in the region, Jammu district accounted for 13 followed by four in Rajouri, three each in Doda and Samba, two Reasi and one in Poonch district.
Eight persons recovered from the virus leaving behind number of active positive cases in Jammu region to 191.
Out of 11 new COVID positive cases in Ladakh, 10 were reported from Leh district and one in Kargil.
The UT of Ladakh now has 130 active positive cases—126 in Leh and four in Kargil.
Meanwhile, Kashmir today reported 132 fresh cases of COVID-19.
Those who tested positive include 73 from Srinagar, 31 from Baramulla, 6 from Budgam, 3 from Pulwama, 9 from Kupwara, 5 from Anantnag, 1 from Bandipora and 4 from Ganderbal.
The number of cases in Kashmir division has reached 209,265 including 205,822 recoveries and 2,270 deaths.
The number of active cases in Jammu and Kashmir are 1,364 including 1,173 from Kashmir division.
With 105 more recoveries, the tally of total recoveries in Jammu and Kashmir has reached 328,013, which is 98.25 percent of the total cases.
