DODA, Nov 8: Fifteen persons were injured in two vehicles’ collision at Garsoo on Doda-Kishtwar highway.
As per police sources, a police bus bearing registration number JK17-0637 coming from Kishtwar collided head on with a mini-bus bearing registration number JK06-2986, resulting into injuries to fifteen persons including some police personnel.
After getting information, a police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Raghubir Singh rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Doda, where their condition was stated to stable, when last reports came in.
The injured persons have been identified as Sandeep Kumar, son of Shadi Lal of Badroon, Mohammad Yaqoob, son of Umar Din of Kishtwar, Sushil Kumar, son of Jagdish Raj of Badroon, Marima Begum, wife of Umar Din of Kishtwar, Mursa Begum, wife of Mohammad Ayoob of Nagri Doda, Basharat Hussain, son of Mohammad Ayoob of Nagri Doda, Mohammad Imran, son of Ghulam Mohammad of Bhaderwah, Fayaz Ahmed, son of Bhadur Sheikh of Kishtwar, Noor Din, son of Dil Mohammad of Gandoh, Dawood Khan, son of late Shah Mohammad of Bhaderwah, Irfam Ahmed, son of Ashiq Hussain of Bhaderwah, Kishori Lal, son of Munshi Ram of Kishtwar, SI Sanjeev Kumar, son of Om Parkash of Kishtwar, Gulab Din, son of Mohammad Akhbar and Naresh Singh, son of Som Singh of Bhagwah.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Doda Police Station and investigation started.
