JAMMU, May 3: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against JMC, PDD and Jal Shakti Department (JSD) claiming that these departments have failed to perform properly.
The protest was led by MSJK president, Sunil Dimple who claimed that 15,000 street lights in Jammu city are not working and the JMC website has crashed increasing public problems.
Dimple also said that there is no accountability in PDD and hefty bills are delivered to the consumers.
“The JSD has also failed to address the acute water scarcity in Jammu,” he maintained claiming that no door-to-door garbage collecting auto visits all the Wards of JMC and most of the drains and sewerage main holes are over flowing.
Dimple demanded that the Chief Minister should give 200 units of free electricity to all the households of J&K along with 12 free LPG cylinders and double ration supply.
Billo Pahalwan, Kala Singh, Mohinder, Vijay Virdi, Arun Verma, Shishupal Sharma, Babu Singh and many others were also present in the protest.
