KATRA, Nov 23: At least fifteen passengers were injured when a bus, they were travelling in, turned turtle at Miyari bridge, here today.
As per the reports, the bus bearing registration number JK-02BB- 2577 was on its way from Katra towards Jammu when it turned turtle at Miyari bridge, resulting into injuries to 15 passengers.
Some locals and Police rushed to the spot and immediately shifted all the injured to CHC Katra for treatment. Most of the victims were discharged after first aid as they had sustained minor injuries.
The injured were identified as Suman – wife of Pardeep of Ghaziabad, UP; Anish – son of Shyam Lal of Kandayar, Manisha – daughter of Balvir Singh of Meghal, Jugal – son of Bansi Lal of Serli, Tanu of Nomain, Sudesh Kumari – wife of Gayan Chand of Serli, Kanta – wife of Krishan of Serli, Darshana Devi – wife of Bansi Lal of Serli, Rani – wife of Puran Chand of Serli, Shagina Bano – wife of Parvez of Mahore, Mohd Sharif – son of Jaz Mohd of Mahore, Sanjana Devi – wife of Deepak Kumar of Katra, Khan Mohd. – son of Kalo Khan of Mahore, Bunty – son of Sham Lal of Bhaderwah and Suman Devi- wife of Pardeep of UP.
