JAMMU, Oct 3: The 14th J&K UT Shooting Championship, organized by the J&K Rifle Association (JKRA) under the aegis of the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI), concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony, here today.
Chief guest Surinder Singh Sodhi, President JKRA, along with dignitaries Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Satpal Singh, Sharat Chander Singh, Paramjeet Singh and Arun Mansotra distributed medals. Technical conduct was overseen by Rajesh Virdhy and a team of qualified officials.
Among the standout winners: Laksh Chetan Wazir bagged multiple golds in 10m Rifle (Sub-Youth, Junior, Youth Men), while Bhavya Sharma won gold in 10m Rifle Junior, Youth and Women. Abhay Gupta dominated 25m Sports and Centre Fire Pistol (Men). Vedanshi Mahajan secured multiple golds in 10m Pistol (Junior, Youth Women, Women). Pranav Sambyal clinched gold in 50m Rifle Prone and 3-Position (Men) and Vibhav Sharma topped 50m Pistol (Junior Men). Aradhya Jamwal excelled in 10m Pistol (Sub-Youth Women).
