JAMMU, Feb 7: The Forest, Ecology, and Environment Department has transferred its 14 officers and ordered either their postings in different departments or assigned them additional responsibilities.

As per an order, Khalid Mehmood Balwan, Range Officer-I, presently posted as Technical Officer to CCF Jammu has been transferred and posted as Range Officer, Doda Social Forestry Division, vice Raj Kumar, Javid Ahmad Nathkhan, Range Officer, Gulmarg Range of Tangmarg Special Forest Division, has been transferred and posted as Technical Officer to CCF, Kashmir, and Iftikhar Qadri, Range Officer-II, presently posted as Technical Officer to CCF Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Range Officer, Gulmarg Range of Tangmarg Special Forest Division.
The order further said that Peerzada Riyaz Ahmad, Range Officer, Vaishu Range, Kulgam Forest Division, has been transferred and asked to look after the charge of ZSCO Budgam vice Ghulam Mohammad Khan, Bilal Ahmad Masoodi, Forester, presently looking after the charge of Social Forestry Range, Qazigund, has been transferred and asked to look after the charge of Special Range, Sopore, Kamraj Forest Division Kupwara relieving Rayees Ahmad Tantray of additional charge of the post.
Ghulam Mohammad Khan, Forester, presently looking after the charge of ZSCO Budgam has been transferred and asked to look after the charge of Vaishu Range, Kulgam Forest Division vice Peerzada Riyaz Ahmad, Raj Kumar Forester, presently looking after the charge of Doda Range, Social Forestry Division, Doda, has been transferred and asked to look after the charge of Kishtwar Range, Forest Division Kishtwar vice Vinay Anand, and Vinay Anand, Forester, looking after the charge of Kishtwar Range, Kishtwar Forest Division, has been transferred and posted as Technical Officer to CCF Jammu, the order said.
Additionally, it has been ordered that Munish Gupta-II, Forester, currently looking after the charge of Basantgarh Range, Ramnagar Forest Division, has been transferred and asked to look after the charge of Jasrota Range, Kathua Forest Division vice Rakesh Kumar. Rakesh Kumar, Forester, presently looking after the charge of Jasrota Range, Kathua Forest Division, has been transferred and asked to look after the charge of Basantgarh Range, Ramnagar Forest Division vice Munish Gupta-II, and Javed Iqbal, Forester, presently looking after the charge of Marmat Range, Batote Forest Division, has been transferred and asked to look after the charge of Social Forestry Range, Poonch, relieving Mukhtar Ahmad Malik of the charge of the post. However, Mukhtar Ahmad Malik shall continue to hold the charge of the post of Social Forestry Range, Surankote.
Sanjeev Singh, Forester, presently looking after the charge of Agrostology Range Rajouri has been transferred and asked to look after the charge of Checkpost Lakhanpur, Kathua Forest Division vice S Amardeep Singh. S Amardeep Singh, Forester, currently looking after the charge of Lakhanpur Check Post Kathua Forest Division, has been transferred and asked to look after the charge of Agrostology Range Rajouri, and Mohammad Hussain, Deputy Forester, presently posted as Technical Officer to DFO Social Forestry Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Technical Officer to DFO Social Forestry Poonch.
