UDHAMPUR, May 15: Police foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued 14 bovines besides arresting the alleged smuggler.
These bovines were laden in a vehicle bearing registration number JK14G-0065, which was intercepted by a Police team at Tikri naka point. Police rescued the bovines and arrested driver of the vehicle, identified as Yasir Ali, son of Farooq Ahmed of Samroli, Udhampur.
In this regard, a case FIR number 65/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Rehambal.
