UDHAMPUR, Mar 10: Under the Civic Action Programme, the 137 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force today organized a blood donation camp at the SRTC campus.
Commandant M K Sicon led the event, attended by senior officers including Second in Command, Kartar Singh, Deputy Commandants R L Meena and Suresh, Medical Officer Dr Manmeet Kaur Brar (187 Bn), SRTC Deputy Director Kripal Singh and Dr Auqib Javid from Government Medical College Udhampur.
Around 30 CRPF officers and jawans voluntarily donated blood to support needy patients.
Media representatives from Amar Ujala, JK Digital Media, Media One Plus and Veera Channel were present alongside local residents, who praised the force’s initiative and urged more such welfare drives.
The 137 Bn has organized similar camps in 2024 and 2025, underscoring its commitment to community engagement.
