UDHAMPUR, Aug 23: District Police Headquarters (DPHQ) Udhampur today ordered the transfer and posting of 13 police officers, including several Station House Officers (SHOs).
According to the order issued by the SSP Udhampur, the transfers have been made in the interest of administration and will take immediate effect. The officers have been directed to report to their new places of posting forthwith.
As per the order, Inspector Raghubir Singh has been shifted from Police Station Udhampur to take charge as SHO Police Station Chenani, while Inspector Neelam Saini has been posted as SHO Women Police Station Udhampur. Inspector Padam Dev Singh will now serve as SHO Police Station Kud.
Inspector Anil Kumar Sharma, earlier with DPL Udhampur, has been assigned as SHO Police Station Ramnagar, whereas Inspector Kapil Gupta has been posted as SHO Police Station Panchari. Inspector Purab Singh has moved from Police Station Rehambal to Police Station Udhampur as SHO, while Inspector Purshotam Kumar has been posted as SHO Police Station Rehambal.
Among other changes, Inspector Rashika Sharma has been transferred from Women Police Station to DPL Udhampur, and Inspector Abdul Star from Police Station Basantgarh to Police Station Majalta as SHO.
Probationary Sub-Inspector (PSI) Rohin Chalotra, who was at PP Ponara, has been posted as SHO Police Station Basantgarh. PSI Azhar Shakeel has been transferred from Police Station Majalta to Police Station Chenani, PSI Jasbir Singh has been moved from Police Station Majalta to Police Station Udhampur, and SI Firdous Ahmed has been posted from Police Station Chenani to Police Station Majalta.
